I finally got the guts to endure the three hour (!) walk from San d'Oria to Bastok. Mytha was a trooper during this exausting excursion.

For the days between the 8th and the 18th, moogles all over vana'diel gave people an easter egg with a letter on it, if you gave the moogle 3 eggs with the first 3 letters in your character's name, you get prizes. this is in front of the Auction House where people are hounding to buy eggs. INSANE!!!!
