... is on the newest Playstation Magazine disc. The magazine also contains a full review of the game too.
I wasn't sure if you all saw that yet. I just picked up a copy last night, but I haven't had a chance to pop in the demo yet. It looks really good though. Anyway, that's it. Has anyone tried it out yet? If so, what did you think? |

Gah. My OPM subscription ended with the MK:SM demo of the last issue. 
I better go pick this up on a newsstand, then; been waiting for a demo of this. Did their review mention anything on online play? I don't remember if it's been confirmed or denied that Soul Calibur III would head online. |

There is no online play in this game.
Personally, I didn't like it. The whole character creation thing is just shallow. And it just feels pointless. I mean, the only people who will ever see the character is yourself or your buds who come over. I am saying this off demo impressions, but I never really liked Soul Calibur anyways. It's always been a button masher, and even those who are skilled at this game can be beaten by a lonely button masher. Sorry I can't give a more professional opinion on this. I'd recommend Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution. It doesn't have online, but atleast it simulates online/arcade based play. |
