Well, the problem is playing Wireless cheaply, and easily usually means poorly. Since going the cheapest route will result in serious instability issues.

Yeah, Do what i did.
Purchase a wifi card for your desktop, i got mine from frys for 25$, the in-house brand. Make or buy a cross-over cable run the cross-over to your PC's nic from your PS2. Enable ICS and share the connection over your NIC. Done, i did this to be in my wireless home network and it works great. We even play Halo2 here with almost no lag on this connection. |

Dang everythings in a different rooom and if I'm gonna be doing an ICS connection with my pc I might as well do everything the way I have been doin it since everything is in such a off spot in my house

Can this be used even if it is a little expensive? |

Yes that wireless device can be used. I believe you need a wireless router in addition to it.

The LogiTech PlayLink setup is normally $99.99, but I've seen it on Ebay for as low as $35-$50. It has a max 100ft range, and a 1.5Mb/s max transfer rate. I'd get one if I had the scratch, I've heard they're pretty solid.
Just an option if you find a set cheap enough. Also, this is my 100th post. Cool. |
