I've tried a few different sets out and all worked fine. Please name which ones!!! Anything by Logitech/Plantronics/Microsoft that uses USB should work fine. Basically, go to any electronics store and take your pick from any corded USB headset. Any game that uses USB headsets uses a generic driver to ensure compatibility with a wide range of headsets. As suggested before, do not even bother with wireless headsets, as the PS2 pre-dates the widespread adoption of wireless technology and compatibility is a crap shoot. |

I find a lot of USB headsets used at gamestop. All of them $14.99 regardless of quality. I got a fairly nice Logitech from a gamestop and it was right next to a cheap looking one for the same price. Just look through the used PS2 accessories.

I purchased a Logitech one and I really didn't like it. It just didn't feel to durable to me.
