I know it is. On the box in the compatiible section it says; "Network Adapter (Ethernet/Modem for PS2), and USB Modem/Ethernet Campatiable. When this game first came out and everybody learned that it was online, the majority of the people were using dial-up for their connections because 1. The PS2 network adapter was not out yet, and 2. It was cheaper to buy a USB modem for it. I was on it the other night using my broadband connection.

Nikon: Did you check the Tony Hawk 3 post? I think I said that it was both BB and Dial-up. And THUG is dial-up compatiable too.
