I just picked up ts2 today. I still need ts1. I am slowly working my way backwards to own the whole series haha. I have put like 100s of hours into ts3, so to think that I have that much potential fun to be had again in ts2 is just awesome.

time splitters 2's challenge and arcade league mode were a lot more fun for me, ts3 had the better story and multi player. their both cheap so get them both

ts2 has never been a huge draw to me, but I still really like the idea of playing online through xlink. I want ts3 though, it seems like an overall better game.

I used to play all TS games all the time a few years ago; competing against other players both offline (trying to get high scores, low times) and online (not as much online though, only like 50 hours).

I have played TS1 for like 8-9 days on my profile, TS2 should be around 20 in total because my old profile got deleted, and TSFP around 23. In other words, I've put a lot of time into these games, but they're worth it.

I actually just played Timesplitterse 2 story mode a long time last night. The story kind of is nonexistant so far, but the missions are pretty fun. From my time with the game, I think Timesplitters 2 overall has a lot more fun weapons to use. TS3 has some very awesome ones as well, but TS2's weapons are pretty much all great except for like the plasma rifle and sci fi pistol. Like in Timesplitters: Future Perfect I find the rocket launcher and heatseaking rocket launcher both are crap compared to their Timesplitters 2 versions.
