The Guitar Hero craze has sorta missed me, but I think that I would pick this game up since it appears to be PS2 bound.

I'm not really interested in it, but I did like Guitar Hero 3 and 2 for awhile.

Yea I am not really into the idea of dj hero either. I think it just depends what type of music you like. I am more into metal and stuff so rock band/ guitar hero seem more appealing to me.

I beleive the "Boom Boom Pow " vs "Satisfaction" is the best song ever mixed!

oh my god, I played this at best buy the other day, I would have to say I was greatly disappointed. The mixes you could play were just awful, and I was really looking forward to this game since it seems to be the closest thing to a frequency or amplitude sequel. But like I said the mixes were terrible, and that boom boom pow and satisfaction mix sucks, the transitions between the songs are so sudden and just don't flow together.

dude, play the game! that's his opinion! there are more than plenty of people that enjoyed this game!

What I gotta say about it is that it's very challenging if you are used to Guitar hero style gameplay. Expert mode is very fun regardless of how difficult it looks.
The way the songs flow just depends on what order you pick the songs in. So if that's going to be a bother i reccomend you play the preset track list which actually unlocks better songs.

[too bad there is no *SPOILER* code]

Yeah i meant to reply to my initial comment, I ended up buying the game and liked it alot. I blame my bad initial experience on input lag mostly since for some reason in the demo there was no setting to adjust for it, even though in the full game you can. Also the sound system they had it set up on was abysmal. But after completing everything on hard i would have to say that I really like the game, I haven't spent the time to dig into expert yet though.... lol

All the mixes are pretty good, there really aren't any terrible ones. Theres a few that are really good in my opinion. I had a great time with the game so far, but haven't had the time to play it that I had when I played it before.

Looks like there will be a sequel to this game. Hopefully it will come out on PS2 as well.

The writer of the article heartily endorses the game in the photo hahaha.

I'm not sure if whether to buy it or not because I still haven't gotten tired of the songs in the current one! and I don't want to feel like I'm cheating myself somehow.

but hey, good news! DJ Hero 2 everyone!

[crickets start chirping]

I can't wait to see the line up for this one though! they do have to work on the guitar mixes because none of the ones in the current game where challenging in my opinion!
