Hit a snafu regarding Lockdown's co-op play...
Much to my dismay, I found out a few nights ago while playing co-op online in Lockdown that you must unlock a weapon offline in order to use it online. This entails running through the single-player mode looking for steel briefcases that are exchanged for 'intel points'. AFAIK, there are no cheat codes to give yourself unlimited intel points.
The good news is that you should only need to complete 2-3 levels (provided you acquire all the briefcases) in order to unlock all the weapons for co-op play.
It leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth when a game resorts to underhanded tactics and forces you to slog through for a reward that should be unlocked to begin with. |

Do you know how many weapons there were to unlock? Is it just 1 or 2? or are they unlocked in batches? Like "3 new machine guns added" etc etc. |

Well, actually not that "lazy" when you think about it. They had to do coding in order to implement this type of chicanery in the first place.
Do the Intel Points carry over? So for instance, if you get 80 intel points, does that unlock all guns that require 80 points and below? Or do you have to "buy" the guns one by one with acquired points? |

I'm pretty sure you have to 'buy' the guns one by one with your acquired points. |
