I bought this PS/2 -> USB Adapter so I could use my cheap $10 PS/2 keyboard I bought for PSO on my PS2. Well, after a while, it started to cut out. The keyboard wouldn't respond (I couldn't even switch numlock on/off). Sometimes it would even start repeating the last key that had been pressed. Now, I thought this may have been a keyboard problem, cause the keyboard has given me issues before (randomly pressing zero..), but it turns out it wasn't. It only happened when I typed fast (and typing slow is a problem for me: I type really fast, and it's very hard for me to slow down), or when multiple keys were pressed at once.

So.. I exchanged it for another adapter from radioshack. When I first tried it, it seemed to work PERFECTLY. For 10 minutes. Then it started crapping out again. WTF!? Now, you must realize, this is in PlayOnline/FFXI. When I tested it out in SOCOM II, Frequency Online Demo, and even the HDD New Folder option, it didn't do this. I'm even using the adapter to type this on my computer, just to make sure that it's truly not the adapter. It hasn't messed up once. So this leads me to believe that there's something with POL/FFXI that's causing it to do this. But what!? And why!? This pisses me off. I know someone else on this board uses the same adapter, as they pointed me to it, though I can't remember their name for the life of me.. sorry. I was wondering, though, has anyone else had trouble like this? And if so, have you been able to fix it? Or were you forced to get an actual USB keyboard, and did that solve anything? I've tried it with THREE different keyboards, same results each time.
