 YES i just ordered my SBC yahoo DSL pakage. But im Depressed cause it aint getting here untill next tuesday  .... hey wich is better dynamic or static ip addres ..... |

| Yea it takes them awhile to config your phone line for it we had 2 wait a about a week for ours 2 activate. | ||||

I don't have the DSL option in my area. SBC hasn't contracted in my section of the world . I got cable modem instead and love it. |

| Man i got my Dsl modem on thursday, i was kind of sceptical that it wouldn't work but i plugged it in and it didn't. I left it on all night and the blinking red light telling me there was no connection got on my nerves so i disconnected it. When i got home from school, on friday, i fired it up and it worked. I was so happy man i was like YEAH!!! high speed now. But the thing is, is that SBC told me my phone line wouldn't be ready until tuesday so i dont know if i should continue using it or live it up, and just keep using it. Anyway braod band is so worth it. This coming from a person that only used dialup for about 3-4 years ...... | ||||

Due to some recent internet issues, I should be getting SBC Yahoo! DSL in due time as well, like you have, and I can't wait...it still has to be ordered and everything, but it'll happen...
Did your install kit come with an ethernet network card? |
