Yea I just tried as well. This game is still online I just signed on no problem. This is in Japan only. I'm going to make a news thread clarrifying this immediatly.

Yeah, that 1up article lists PS2 online games that aren't online stateside, besides Auto Modellista. Also:

sorry guys for not checking it out myself, i mean i read through the article, and the external NA did sound fishy to me, but i just thought it meant that it was compatible with USB external adapters like how tony hawk 3 was until DNAS came out. bah. i hate releasing information and it turning out to be false.
