1.5mb should be more that enough. It's higher than 56k, so that's good. And there will always be lag, whether it's server lag or client lag (not necessarily your own), but 1.5mb should be good. I dunno what I have right now though, so I can't help you out much... Stupid comcast doesn't let you choose your speed. I think WOW does though, you just have to pay a bit more if you want a faster connection.

1.5's fine. its what i have and i only experience occasional lag. and yes, socom lags like hell.

thanx so 1.5mb is good. | ||||

it all depends on how many computers you have on the network you are runnin...... i got like 4 computers runnin on a 2.5-4.0mb connection, it runs pretty smoothly. also if you are runnin it with a router you can adjust the settings on the router to only allow som much bandwith to the other computers that are on the network you are runnin.
I would only have 1 comp and my ps2 and xbox on it.
if your not planning to run all of those at once it would be good enough to get the 1.5 mb tranfer rate. i just would recomend that you either dont run the pc online (ie. downloading music and such) and your ps2 online, but if you limit the speed on the pc throuhgt the router then your good to go.

thanx for the help and i keep everything in mind,
