Whats exactly is a linkshell? It's sorta like a chatroom of sorts. Either a the linkshell maker or a linksack holder gives you a linkpearl. You equip it, and you can chat with the people of said linkshell across the whole in-game world. Players can make their own, or be part of others. You can choose the color of your linkshell and it's pearls when you make it with a simple RGB slider. It's pretty neat, allows you to ask for help with certain things when there's noone nearby. You can only equip one at a time, but can have as many as you want on you, inventory permitting. |

Yeah, he pretty much explained it.
As to how to make a Linkshell, I dont know how. I was part of one before I got my WP to Odin, but they just tought me the basics of the game. |

I made one for my website seeing as how several people on it play FFXI, but it hasn't been doing so well... |
