a while back in the posts there was a post on internet tunneling questions and i had posted question about how to fix auto-config failure i get when trying to auto config ts2 and u told me i should disable dhcp on my router for my ps2 so does that mean i go into internal browser in ts2 and manually enter net mask, default router, and ip address?

You said you were using XLink, which needs the PS2 to use that program's built-in DCHP (sounds like a stupid design flaw to me, but hey.) To do this, it depends on what router you have and you have to evaluate how much trouble you'll get in for screwing with it. In my case, my family doesn't even know how to access a router and I know how to start the DCHP back up or bring it back to full settings. With a Lynksys, it's pretty easy to bring the number of clients down or take DCHP off altogther, depending on what you feel like doing. I could help you, but browsing the XLink forums will bring you better instructions probably. Also note that there are other options for tunneling as well.
