My local BB just got the GameRush thing going. GameRush is BlockBuster's answer to EB and GameStop's trade-ins. They have a big section full of games. Anywho, if you guys are looking to get rid of your older games for newer ones, GameRush is known for giving "extra" value to trade-ins. You can possible trade it, let's say 5 old games, for Killzone maybe? and others to that affect. The games don't even have to be complete, although it lowers the value slightly, they do accept disc only games. I hope this helps anyone looking to get newer games.

I've been to a GameCrazy and I might work there this summer. The prices are about the same as EB, GameStop, etc, BUT they also have all the retro stuff from NES to DC. I got an SNES last summer with 20 games at a flea market for $25 (heh heh stupid kid) and this summer: can you say employee discount?

Anyone tried hitting up their local BlockBuster? I'm thinking of hitting mine up to trade for the following games:

Killzone(PS2)
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal(PS2)
Halo 2(XBOX)
X-Men Legends(XBOX)

and maybe a PS2 Multitap and some Dual Shcok 2 Controllers

Wasn't the trade-in value for DVDs at Blockbuster $8? Apparently, it's been lowered to $5. Neutral

Hopefully, games haven't been brought down in value as well. (EDIT: Whoops, I think I'm mixing up stand-alone Blockbusters with BB/GameRush stores. Nevermind.)

wow.............lol..................ok so anyway...8 dollars is alot for a trade in dvd value....i might have to stop by at one....even if they give you five a dvd isnt too bad... do games have a wide range of trade in value like EB or is it a fixed price like the dvdd.

Wide range, I think they give ya 20$ for the original Halo. Some surprising sports games give ya good credit also.

They also have a deal where if you trade-in any 3 games, you get 5$ on top of the trade-in value price. So if you trade in three games worth 5$ each, you get 5$ plus on each game and that makes 30$ credit or money.

I think they might also have the trade-in ANY pre-owned games and get any NEW game for 29.99$.

This is awesome when your trying to get rid of some old games and rack up on new ones.

When you mean trade in ANY pre-owned games towards a new game, is there a minimum of how many you have to trade-in? Could I just trade in one game and get the price knocked down to $29.99?

All you need to do is trade in one game Mytho, that's the beauty of it. I hit up my local BB's GR section and traded in the following:

PS2

Socom - 7$
Socom Logitech Headset - 10$
Kill. Switch - 12$
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun - 8$
NBA Street Vol 2 - 8$
Rainbow Six 3 - 5$

XBOX

Leisure Suit Larry - 25$

For a total of 75$

Got:

XBOX

Halo 2 Limited Collectors Edition(New) - $34.99
X-Men Legends(New) - $29.99

I've heard people were having problems trading in multiple game discs or games that include the mic. Surprisingly, there was no value for Socom and it's Mic in the box so they threw the outer box away and scanned the Socom game and the Mic's serial number individually which got me 17$ total. Not bad when Socom II is gonna cost 20$ new soon.

Next on my list, Need for Speed UnderGround 2(PS2). I was gonna get Killzone, but I just couldn't say no to X-Men Legends. I still have a few games I'm gonna trade in next time towards a GameCube console, NFSU2 or KIllzone.
