Did you get banned from DNAS or something? 'Cause if that's the case, we probably won't help you. And besides, isn't the ID hardcoded into the system? | |||

Yea if you got your id banned, this means your banned from DNAS. If you got it banned for some mysterious reason and don't know why, then contact sony. (they are pretty strict though.)
If you used cheats, tried going online with a modded system...etc etc If your completly banned and still want to play online the only option would be to play LAN capable games over XLink. |

Couldn't getting a new PS2 also fix the problem, since it has a new ID and all? I know that might not be a wise option, but it's out there. | |||

Yea you could buy a new PS2, but thats an expensive alternative.
Yah know, what has me worried is. What if you ever pickup a used PS2? and it was banned. That would suck if you couldn't get online because someone pawned off their banned ps2 to you. |

I think Sony would reset your id if you got it used Similar to PSO DC. But as someone mentioned earlier it would probably take sometime if Sony is so strict.  |
