My PS2 currently has the following items on it:
Sony HDD Sony Network Adapter I can get a USB Cooling fan that covers ther entire front end of the PS2. Here's a pic: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-9/842193/PS_II_USB_fan.JPG It connects directly into the PS2 and doesn't require any type of installation. It uses the PS2's power to work. Would this be a good idea to get even though one USB port will be taken up? Will it drain my PS2's life after a while? Will a mic still work without the first port? |

Your mic will be fine, it works on either USB port. As for power, I can't really tell you that, but my guess is that it will put more stress on your PS2 and in the long run that will affect it in a bad way. | |||

Um, for what reason would you want a fan? If you have your PS2 in a decently ventilated area, it should be just fine, as long as the front and back grills (grates? whatever you call them) are exposed. | |||

The PS2 is around lots of electronics(DVD Players, VCR's, CD PLayer's, LapTop's, Stereo Amp's...etc) so I was thinking of getting one. Besides, it's free so I might as well right?

you also could get a usb extenter so you could add 4 more ports if u needed them.. i didnt they made fans for ps2s.
ninja gaiden huh,,,how ...i might see it if you explain.... ninja gaiden is a really good game. |

I've seen a cooling fan for the original PlayStation before, at least, in Japan. It sat under the system and was plugged in separately (it had its own cord), then acted as a large ventilation system for the console. Way overpriced, though. Which leads me to this...

mir_wan, DarkSlayer5000's avatar looks like the skeletal zombies in the hidden underground level.
I'm getting it for free because I'm part of this website that gives you something called GB's. These GB's transferred to cash at the-console-corner.com. I currently have about 30$ of credit. The fan is around 12$ so I'll be getting that. Thanks for the replies guys. |
