The new dedicated servers are being brought up with the now availible 32 players online on the ps2! People have been able to edit the dedicated server software and have been able to bump up the players to 32 and a possible 64. When i say 32 and 64, i dont mean bots and all that, i mean real peeps, 32 of EM! i just got off a 32 player server and it was very stable and it shows me an even brighter future of the online community for ps2.
First i thought it was a joke while i read these posts: http://forums.lucasarts.com/thread.jspa?threadID=8174&tstart=0 Then i went to see what they talked about: http://www.gamerplug.com/showthread.php?t=50374 And then i went online to see this for myself and it is REAL!!!! 
The guy running the server said it should be being widespread released within a weak or so! If you havent hopped onto the Battlefront bandwagon, now should be the push to do so. |

Hot damn! Fantastic news. Maybe it should be dubbed "SWAS" (Star Wars Dedicated Server) or "BFAS" (Battlefront Dedicated Server) instead? 
I gotta get my hands on this game somehow. |

wow 32 ppl thats as much as the pc version.. i hope its not laggy ill have to check this out for myself and ill report how it is. | |||

oh yea you dont need another version of the server to do this. You can just : "hack" the sever through itself(im using hack because everyone else is using it) So here it is:
Here's how to "hack" the Dedicated server software: -Set up your game with any number of players. -Note the "command Line" at the bottom of the screen INCLUDING THE FILENAME. -Then change the number that is your number of players to any number (in the command line) -Run the program agin using the modified command line.
