i've been reading posts on various websites that gta:sa is actually not a dual layered dvd which is probably why it works with hdloader/hdadvance. maybe rockstar announced it to be dual layered to cut down on piracy Question

I am currently playing it right now. I have made it to the las vegas type area. The game is pretty good but has some annoying aspects like a crappy framerate, and since the map is so gigantic driving to missions can take too long.

They did good for PS2 seeing how it can't handle much.

san andreas rocks..

the free-roaming element is made perfect by all the things you can do. i'm just really glad rockstar gave the ability to swim because that opened up a brand new world with added realism.

Yea swimming was cool sometimes, but it really sucked if you got knocked off the rode in a car and ended up in the water and had to swim for 5 mins straight just to get out. I would have rather drowned in that situation lol.

If you are into sandbox games and enjoyed the other gta games I would say yes.

Yeah, this game is 100% worth it....

I heard you can mod your PS2 so that you can mod your game...but to a certain limit!

There are many fun things to exploit in the game as well as uncovering spine chilling scenes like the body bags near Castillo del Diablo!!!
