I don't have GT3 or UT for the PS2, so I was wondering what the maximum player amount for i.Link-ing those games is? My TimeSplitters 2 manual doesn't say. I know that the Armored Core games only support 2 players, since it's all one on one AC brawls, but other than that, i'm sort of in the dark on i.Link support.
About a year ago I was looking around for an i.Link hub, but they were strupid expensive. Does anyone in the States know where might I find one these days/how much would it set me back? I'd like to get ahold of one before they become difficult or impossible to find. |

Einhander you can check the Online Game List, near the bottom in the "System Link" list for the player counts.
Also, the AC titles after AC2 and AC2:AA support more than 2 players. They support 4. However, this to me always seemed dumb. I can't imagine what a 4 player AC battle would be like. I have played many missions in Last Raven where I am battleing multiple AC's at once. It just isn't as fun. 1 on 1 AC is where its at. Throwing more AC's into the mix seems to kill all of the strategy. It is sort of like that Guilty Gear release "Isuka" which allowed for 4 player battles. An interesting novelty, but fighting games really should be 1 on 1. The same thing goes for AC. I don't know much about i.link hubs. It is still something I have to look into myself. I need to get one soon as well before they become a rare commodity. I do know that your standard i.link hub will work. Sony never released an official one as far as I know. |

Game list. Duh. I'm not with it tonight.
http://www.gameexpress.com/product_detail.cfm?UPC=738012168974&ClickCode=RIGHTNAVPRICEDROPS These guys have one for a little over $30, but that seems expensive, especially considering it doesn't come with any cables. It does say "PS2 Compatible" on it, though, and it mentions GT3 on the back. I'm thinking that it's just a standardized i.Link port, and doesn't require any kind of special PS2 differences. I'll get back if I find anything cheaper. |

Has anyone ever ordered from GameExpress before? I have seen that site but didn't know how reliable they were.
I bet you could find an i.link hub cheaper than 31, especially ones that were third party and for the PS2. It's not like the public at large are interested in i.link like we are. |

My friend and i just got back into playing Time Crisis 2 and 3 again and we were looking to do an arcade system setup with two ps2s and two tvs. We want to system link the games but all we need is the i Link cable, we got two guncons and 2 copies of the game.
So does anyone know where to find an i Link cable online for a reasonable price? |

Let me know if you are interested, i need to sell some stuff and make money. I'll send you a pic if you're interested.

That is incredibly overpriced. You paid about 54 dollars too much. You can get i.link cables for like 6 dollars.
Best I could find on ebay after shipping was Item number: 120173488951 2.95 + 4.95 shipping |

I believe it's about 6 feet, i still have it wrapped up with the plastic so i can't really be sure, I only used it briefly and the ps2's where right next to each other.

Ahh yea if it were longer like say maybe 12feet then it might have been worth how much you spent since it is harder to track down really long i.link cables. But since it is a standard 6foot cable, you could only resell it for maybe $5.00.
