i hate that this game keeps being pushed back, but at least i can play the pc version now, that little directsound problem went away by itself. Have no idea what was going on with it, but i tried it today and the game started, hurrah.

Unfortunatly I am not entirely broke. I am having some money issues so. I have no choice but to take a chill for a bit. I will be getting this game officially as soon as I possibly can. I have to save whatever money I can for a pre-order on Trizeal for Dreamcast.

I have to get some client work done first before I have some cash. I hope to finally get dredd within the next few weeks.

In the meantime I am most likely going to install my pirated copy on my PC to play it in the meantime.

If anyone happens to get the PS2 or GC versions let me know how well they perform. I'm going to buy a legit PC and console copy of the game as soon as I have the dinero.

I personally like the game.

For anyone interested, GameStop.com currently has Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death for $9.99. Here's the link.

Just an update, I scored this for the GameCube, and stress caution with this title on consoles. The PS2 version may or may not have huge framerate issues. So be warned. The PC version is the best very to get if you ever decide to the pick this up.

I may snag the PS2 version someday in the bargain bin just to find out how well this game did perform on the PS2, but Judge Dredd on consoles seems to be a sloppy port.

Multiplayer does run better than single player though.

I did not mean copy copy. By copy I meant buy the PC version. Like I said I havn't tried the PS2 version yet. So who knows it may run very good. The gamecube version runs into serious framerate issues though in single player.

I made this thread praising the game before actually playing the console version of it. Avoid this game on home consoles. The Judge Dredd's framerate on the console versions is horrible. Simply do not buy. However mind you, I only played the GameCube version of this, and have not play the PS2 versio yet. However this was a straight up "get the game running and ship it" situation. They didn't not optimize the game at all. Bargain hunt for the PC versiom instead, 5 bucks or less.

I like this game a lot, but the framerate on the home console port was so horrible at times, it ruins the game.
