Topic: how good do the aerial vehicles fly?

Just curious as to how well the x-wing handles, and other aerial vehicles? Is it anything like Rogue Squadron?
I hope they don't control like the D... the D... shit I can't think of the name of the small plane in GTA3. |

| They are uh... not great but control ok. I mean maybe I played too much Tribes in the past or need to change my controls, but it's kinda messed up in my opinion. I suppose once you get it down they could fly decently. I haven't played in a while and could go check. | ||||

the time i rented it, i couldnt fly the thing at all. i forget why, but i know it was difficult. but i liked the jetpack guys  |

wasnt it called the doo doo or something like that...
anyway i didnt really have a problem with the controls. after playing with them i got used to them iguess. |

They may seem a bit fast at first, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy to control them. Too bad there aren't entire missions based around the flying vehicles... | |||

Do the flying vehicles play as much of a role in SW:BF as they do in Tribes?
And yes, space missions would be crazy. Star Destroyers! Oh man! |

it depends on which map you are playing. some maps dont have much vehicles but for example in the hoth level the vehicles play a important part in transporting troops and such. mostly the larger maps are the ones that teams need to make good use of vehicles. | |||
