Here's a list of great budget games to check out. They're not necessarily the newest on the block, but I think they're well worth playing and a good bang for the buck:
Tribes: Aerial Assault
Warhammer 40,000
007: Everything or Nothing
SOCOM II
Midnight Club II
Need for Speed: Underground
Twisted Metal Black
Beyond Good and Evil
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
ESPN NFL and NBA 2K5
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution - The best 3d fighter out there. Period.
Soul Calibur II
Devil May Cry
Ratchet and Clank
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, 4, and THUG
Gran Turismo 3: A Spec
Grand Theft Auto (III and Vice City can be found cheap)
There's a lot of good games on that list, but there's even more good games not on there too. Basically, wait 3 months after the release of a game and pick it up new on the clearance rack or buy a pre-owned copy. Either option will more than likely be dirt cheap. |
