i know that you can play games without DNAS online with the HD Loader because i loaded my tribes disk on my hdd to avoid disk read errors...if there are LAN games that dont use DNAS you could ... But im not sure with the DNAS games. | |||

Posted Tue Jul 19, 2005 11:59 pm: ok, i slaped it in and its recognized on my browser. theres 3 icons pre loaded. when i select the "play Online", it goes to a black screen, and after a second comes right back it the top menu of the browser. i assume this is because the disk needs to be in there? i have no real intention on playing FF due to the fees. and id like to keep the disk sealed for resale value. so i ask of my experianced FF brethren, is the broblem described normal? FFXI comes pre-installed the on HDD, but you'll still need to install PlayOnline from the disc. After that, you will not require the discs ever again. |

now its time to buy a HD program. but which one is the better one? HDloader or HDadvance 2.0? |

hd loader is said to have less errors... its the version i have and it works great | |||
