| Ok, my PS2 reads certain games but it won't read KillZone. It recognizes the disk but it won't play it. I have used disk cleaners and cans of air to keep it clean. It reads Socom 3 perfectly and a few other games and the KillZone disk doesn't have many scratches on it. If someone could help me, Ill be greatly appreciated. | ||||

i had the same problem which led to the disk red errors that ps2s are known for.. it could be that your ps2 is just dying | |||

Yah.... sounds like your playstation 2 is gonna go soon. There is one thing u could try, open it up and clean the laser with a Q-tip and some alcohol. This will extend the life of it (hopefully) but sooner or later its gonna die....... the laser is dieing. | |||
