I was able to get the Japanese site to come up just fine:
http://www.hudson.co.jp/gamenavi/gamedb/softinfo/bomb_online/

Yes you are correct, it went offline on Jan 31st:

- 2006.02.01 "It is a net and Bonn Birman" service end.
The service of "It was a net and Bonn Birman" ended with January 31, 2006.
Thank you indeed for ..length.. patronage.
Please continue your favors toward the Bonn Birman series in the future.

I am pretty sure some others went offline as well, as Japan does this with all of their online games. I will make a pass through the list and see if I can find any others.

Thanks for spotting this

I've been keeping an eye out on the KDDI games for ya as well. All Capcom titles are still online. I beleive it's just the dial-up games.

I'll be checking SNK's library as well.

EDIT: All Current Online KDDI Titles

http://www.kddi.com/variety/multi_m/bb/taio.html

Nothing new, but save for reference. I have a feeling we'll see termination of a few games. MH2 has been taking popularity from a lot of KDDI games. Many players on GameFaqs have confirmed even connecting to the main server is a chore. I'm not saying MH2 is killing the online games, I'm just saying games like Biohazard Outbreak and Auto Modellista US Tuned probably won't last too long.

I would have to agree with you. The capcom games are definatly in danger of going offline before 2007. In Japan they will probobly go offline first, with the US games following. Capcom is just waiting to axe those games. Especially Auto Modellista which rarely has anyone online. But I expect it to happen. Over the last year I have been ignoring the actual Online game list, and focusing more on the LAN list below for what games I buy.

The one thing that keeps the capcom games less at risk is the Monster Hunter franchise. If 2 comes to the US then I think RE Outbreak and Auto Modellista could stay online for much longer than they normally would in the US.

EDIT: Actually I shouldn't say "if" monster hunter 2 comes to the US, because Capcom recently made a press release about their focus of worldwide releases. So that game is definatly coming here.

A Japanese player has reported that Outbreak 1 is dead in Japan and no one ever players it.

Outbreak 1 in America still has 40 people online during the day. But only a few games hosted.
