Ok I got my PS2 today, and to test out the drive I popped in the movie "Hostel" parental control came up... D'OH! I'm sending this guy a message asking if he knows the password, does anyone here know how to reset this? | |||

At the screen where it asks you to input the password enter 7444. The old password will be deleted.
Just leave it blank to not have a password setup. |

Awesome! Thanks, Nikon. That had me worried about being able to play M rated titles. Anyway I wound up using one of my daughter's DVD's to test the drive (Barney, ugh!) And it loaded up just fine, though the drive eject is a bit on the slow side. (just like my best friend's old PS2) But I think I'm in the clear as far as the DRE goes.  |
