Ok I got my PS2 today, and to test out the drive I popped in the movie "Hostel" parental control came up... D'OH! I'm sending this guy a message asking if he knows the password, does anyone here know how to reset this?

At the screen where it asks you to input the password enter 7444. The old password will be deleted.

Just leave it blank to not have a password setup.

Awesome! Thanks, Nikon. That had me worried about being able to play M rated titles. Anyway I wound up using one of my daughter's DVD's to test the drive (Barney, ugh!) And it loaded up just fine, though the drive eject is a bit on the slow side. (just like my best friend's old PS2) But I think I'm in the clear as far as the DRE goes. Mr. Green
