Does anybody know of THE cheapest way I could wirelessly network my ps2? I dont care if its mad tacky,ghetto or what as long as I can play my ps2 from another room cheaply,easily and wirelessly

Well, the problem is playing Wireless cheaply, and easily usually means poorly. Since going the cheapest route will result in serious instability issues.

Yeah, Do what i did.


Purchase a wifi card for your desktop, i got mine from frys for 25$, the in-house brand.

Make or buy a cross-over cable

run the cross-over to your PC's nic from your PS2.

Enable ICS and share the connection over your NIC.

Done, i did this to be in my wireless home network and it works great. We even play Halo2 here with almost no lag on this connection.

Dang everythings in a different rooom and if I'm gonna be doing an ICS connection with my pc I might as well do everything the way I have been doin it since everything is in such a off spot in my house

Yes that wireless device can be used. I believe you need a wireless router in addition to it.

The LogiTech PlayLink setup is normally $99.99, but I've seen it on Ebay for as low as $35-$50. It has a max 100ft range, and a 1.5Mb/s max transfer rate. I'd get one if I had the scratch, I've heard they're pretty solid.

Just an option if you find a set cheap enough.

Also, this is my 100th post. Cool.

Very Happy Yooo thanks man! I was just thinking about this the other day as I was carrying my ps2 to another room so the net cables could reach,very affordable setup there

ahhh I think I waited to long now......does anybody think its possible to get this offline somewhere? because I'm still uneasy about buying stuff off the net and if you dont think so name a safe place for me to purchase it online.Because it's not on logietech's site anymore....
