I guess EA is just going straight to Next - Gen, (I don't know if its just ps2 or all versions that are offline) it is sad considering they are taking / or took down the previous games. | |||

I'm not too surprised about THP8 not being online for PS2 (no online for the PS3 version's a different story), but Carbon should've defiinitely had something. Both NFSC and THP8 look like they're only online for the 360.  |

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised about this move by NFS Carbon, because EA supports their online games pretty much until their supply has been distributed to retailers.
Tony Hawk Project 8 not being online does surprise me a little bit, because Neversoft has been committed to having Tony Hawk Games online since before the PS2 was online (think THPS 3). I guess it's to be expected though, since they handed off development of the PS2 version and couldn't figure iron out online functions on the PS3 version, which was probably their big push. Still, it will be very telling to see what they do with next year's version of the game. Hopefully, online play will return on both platforms.. |

A shame that Create-A-Whatever is toned down so much in career mode, too (especially early on). I'm thinking of renting this one on PS2 to try out Nail-The-Trick, but not for much else.
