Guess its not so universal then Sad Glad I read this now as I was going out after tea to buy a skype set with a usb headphone in it for 6.95 gbp. Dont really want the skype set (dont think it will work on my old pc) so I will hold fire on getting this now. Shame cus its in clearance and will sell out no doubt.

This is the one that didnt work?

you can probably take a trip to your local independant game store and pick up one of the Socom games, may be a bit more expensive but probably equal by the time P&P has been take into account.

Look for Logitech Headsets compatible with the Playstation 2. Or search for "Official Playstation 2 Headset"

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0001KBFWQ/ref=dp_olp_2/202-2828796-6463806

I own an Official Logitech PS2 headset here in the US. I am not sure what models were released in PAL regions.

So basicly any USB headset wont work on a PS2 but any USB keyboard will?

Yes it seems that would be the case. Any USB mouse should work as well. However it only works for a select few non-online FPS's.

Does anyone know of a wireless pc headset?

I've got 2 ps2s in 2 different parts of the house, and I usually use Vintrillo to chat. If i'm on the ps2 in my bedroom i can't use vintrillo becuase its too far from my computer....

You might want to check out Linksys' website. I bet they have one, though it will probobly be pricey.
