Topic: So whats the word on the next GTA? (online.....maybe?)

There doesn't have to be flying cars, i jsut would want it to be dark and erie in a buzzing city with a shitload of people, awsome lighting and neon signs all over. Maybe a world that was plagued by an overcast of dark clouds. That would be fucking dope. And the guns could still shoot standard bullets, just they would look more technologically designed. | |||

Nikon, your 'dream GTA' sounds alot like Omikron for the Dreamcast. At least the setting anyway. Omikron is a PC adventure game, so it doesn't have much gunslinging (though there are gun fights).
Anyway, to get back on topic, I don't really care what setting the next GTA is. I'd prefer a futuristic setting a la Deus Ex or Shadowrunner, but I would still be happy with GTA moving backward in time. I think Co-Op online play for the next GTA game would be great, but not technically feisible due to having both games sychronize the traffic, pedestrians, etc. Then again, there is MTA, so...... -Mytho |

I thought of the game that was like a futuristic GTA: Jak II
That game is of excellent quality. It's the closest thing you'll get to a GTA set in the future. -Mytho |

| GTA would make the best online game could you imagine everyone in the game being a real person. It be cool to be able to make your own gang and stuff the object of the game would be to creat the ultimate mafia and control the online city man that would be sweet. | ||||
