i know you can shared the internet by networking to the PC via an ethernet card, i´m just curious.

Why? The slim PS2 has built-in LAN. The DC on the other hand has a modem built in. Do you have a fat PS2 with dial up modem or what?

If you mean using the LAN port on a slim PS2, then you can share internet if you have two ethernet cards in your computer, but you're much better off with a router, because then you won't have to have the computer on to have internet access on the PS2. Also there are port forwarding issues (the PS2 may be unable to host games)
