I was parousing Cheap Ass Gamer forums, and notice a startling thread about Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for sale on Amazon for 40 bucks. They have somwhere between 70-100 copies available, and then they were all bought up within a few hours.
Then people noticed various sellers with 10-20 copies of this game on ebay. What a shame that flippers bought them all before real game fans could purchase the game. I already own this, which I scored for $55.16 from estarland. Does anyone have any word on where these copies came from? Its really bizarre. There is no mention of a repress on Atlus's website and not even Game Quest Direct, the site that is notorious for represses. From what I have been reading though there was definatly a repress. Play-Asia supposedly has it: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-43-77-2-49-en-15-Shin+Megami-70-bug.html EDIT: Apparently this game is cropping up at used game outlets as well. So looks like this once expensive and slightly out of reach PS2 game is now easier to acquire. EDIT #2: It is BACK up on Amazon again, 39.99 brand new sealed! |

Nice deal, but I am still holding out hope that a nice Limited Edition will pop up soon. However, I did just get a paycheck that would cover the cost of an Amazon order... | ||||
