themytho noonotthat lazybum It has been a long time since I had played this game online. Despite the high number of giant maps this was surprisingly fun still with 3 people. The weapons are really fun to use and so are the mechs, tanks, and insanely fast cars that have unpredictable handling. The one thing that bugs me about this game is the very slow movement speed. There is no sprint button. This would be no problem if the maps were small, but most are made for very high player counts. You move so slow that it feels like you are a 300 pound guy running around the game lol. Still, we had a lot of fun playing this game. I recorded some video of our session, but it will probably not be up on youtube for awhile. I will post it here in this thread once it is uploaded. |

I also had a unexpectedly good time playing Project Snowblind. Last time I had played this game was back in 2005. My experience was riddled with lag, rude hosts, and people abusing the Agent class. To say I was disillusioned with this game would be an understatement. Last night made me wish that I had stuck with the game back then so I could have enjoyed some 16 player warfare.
Ditto regarding comments about the slow movement speed as well. It took a little too long to get back in the action after you died. I can understand why slowing movement speed would work if there were 15 other players running around though. I hope we can round up some more players for some more Snowblind action in the future.  |
