Has anyone ever been prompted to download a patch for SWBF 2? I recently bought this game and was surprised that I was able to immediately play.

I guess they did updates through the dedicated server software rather than asking users to download a patch. Just thought it was odd since the first game require you to patch.

I hate that darn patch for the first one. It takes up so much room on my memory card. Online patches for battlefront, socom, and cold winter are hogging up all my memory yo!

Actually, I have been prompted, repeatedly, to download a patch for SWBF2 on my PS2... It tells me I have downloaded and installed it successfully (I can see the file on my memory card) and I still can't get on. Any insights?

I have no clue what's going on in your situation Confused
I never had to download a patch for SWBF2 in the first place.

Yes a lot of ppl have had this problem but u can fix it. When u get to internet setting press square to edit it then click edit setting after that keep going next until u see ip address, put that as auto, then put dns as manual then on primary put in the following code 63.144.111.10 here is video how to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UQjhkEIkqY
