But man....oh boy does it suck when your at the top with 25 pts and then the rest sorta looks something like this:

[oc]LordNikon 25
7
5
2
1
0
0
-1
-2

And this is like 75% through the game too. I never can understand how this actually happens. I guess idiots just run around with the blaster doing absolutly nothing.

The 32 player servers arent that great, they were a big deal when they first came out but they kinda went down hill.

just so you know, the noobs are like "OMG OMG!!111!!1 32 PLAYER SERVER!!!" and they all go in and stay and don't know what to do.

go to TAA.Kennel or TAA.Leash, thats where the big dogs usually go.

also, everyone put .exe in you buddy list, just putting the clan tag tracks everyone with that tag.

AADS, its software run on the computer. The developers (Inevitable [mailly Ricochet]) and TWL (mainly TySoft) made it that they can have up to 32.

i usualy dont like them that much... too many noobs, too much lag, too uch bad frame rate

Yea but there are 20 or 24 player games up from time to time. I'm staring at the list right now and a 20 player server is up. So he will be able to atleast play on one, but won't be able to host one until Public AADS gets upgraded to allow it of course.

It's my understanding that there is still no way to use a keyboard to chat in this game, even if you had one. (And by the way, you don't need a special keyboard for the PS2. It can use any standard USB style keyboard for PC.)

If you want to communicate, it seems that most people are trying to get it done with TeamSpeak. (Check the stickied thread here.) It is a voice chat program that you run on your computer, so it will only work if you have an internet-connected computer near enough to your PS2 to run a headset cord to it.

Of course you'll need a headset, but it would seem that you can use the USB headset for PS2 that is made by Logitech on your computer, just like how you can use a computer USB keyboard on your PS2. (Gotta love the PS2 for using standard USB so that peripherals can be shared with computers.)

Check that thread for more info on TeamSpeak and its use on OC for T:AA.

The 135 preset voice/text communication phrases which work on all dedicated servers work fantastic. I honestly have no problem communicating with my teamates using these phrases. Pretty much anything you would need to say is right there.

Its a spider menu, so navigating it is really easy and you start to memorize key presses in order to say certain things rather fast. I have 'good game' memorized perfect hehe.

Check www.target.com for it. Just go there and put in "tribes" for a search term. T:AA should come up as the first match with a price of $9.99 and a ship time of 3-5 days.

Good luck.

Yea I ordered some copies from target as well. Waiting for them to get here. Its taking forever. I'll let you know when I got mine. I ordered one for a friend and also an extra formyself since my original copy I have had was a used one to begin with. Wanted a fresh one as a backup just in case.
