i hope this game will be a tactical shooter. This would be cool if it played alot like socom.... I think i will certainly get this game for online play... Lets hope this is a good game. | |||

Yea i'm not sure what to classify this game as. Wether it's tactics or fraggin. Honestly if its just like BF1942 but with a different wrapper(starwars theme), then it falls into tactics catagory. Which I think this is prolly where it will end up. | |||

its good to get a different star wars game... If this was just another fragger it would be like jedi outcast and jedi academy online, which are good games but it would be better to get something different. This game does look alot like BF1942 which inst a bad game. | |||

official cover for this game is now out. I saw it at ebgames.com... It totally favors the imperial side. This game will rock in the fall. It supports voice chat and think it will have up to 16 players online. | |||

I'm seriously thinking about getting this game. First question: Does it require an online fee (I'm assuming no, seeing as how it isn't an MMORPG and it has an offline, single player)? Actually, that was my only question. Also, the newest issue of EGM just arrived today and there was an ad for this game in it. It said it was available now, but i thought I read somewhere on this site that it was coming out in roughly seven days. This game may finally make me buy a headset. I've been meaning to get one for SOCOM II, but if Battlefront uses it too, then all the more reason to get it. | |||

I'm going to rent this/play a PC demo before I commit to a purchase. Looks like Tribes with voice chat, which is seriously sick.

Satoshi, it has no fee online, and im pretty sure there is an offline.
i hear the people move slow, but thats all the bad things iv heard from it. im prolly getting it. but i dont know when. latest by Xmas though (did you know they had "x-mas" in medival times?) |

Yeah, Battlefront reminds me of Tribes and SOCOM, except put into the Star Wars universe. I played a demo of it and there's a lot to do and learn (i.e. Aerial Assault-like learning curve), it seems. Also, you're correct DietGarfield, there is no fee for online play. | |||

yeah ive been playing the demo nonstop... Im goin to be skiping school the 21st so i can go get the game... I hope lots of ppl get this game from the oc so we can have lots of games..
This reminds me alot of Socom with star wars also... Mytho you should get the OPM demo to try it out... I think this will be a great game on what i have played so far |

yes, the demo is offline only. and once you beat the level, it shuts off, but you can restart the level before you need to.

yes the demo is worth a shot.... Im having fun with the only level... I cant wait til the game comes out on the 21.. It will be my number one played online game.
The mgs trailer and Call of Duty Trailer is good on the disk also. |
