I was using a Compaq keyboard tonight buick. Pretty much anything worked. On a similar note, I tried a mouse with some places in AM where it would be helpful but it didn't work.

I have a no-name/unknown brand USB keyboard which I got free from a friend because it didn't have a spacebar key. Still works fine without it, and I'm guessing it was around $5-$10.

Yea, pretty much anything USB mouse or keyboard will work for the PS2. Just don't buy one of those high-assed priced Sony keyboards, because you'll be paying for the Sony logo and not the keyboard. Very Happy

I've got a cheap $10 GE Keyboard that I bought for my Gamecube, I'm using a PS/2 -> USB adapter to use it on my PS2. It's great, it works fine.

I find that one has to press the R2 and L2 button's a little harder than normal when using said PS2 -> GC adapter. It makes it REALLY hard to shield in SSBM and aim in games like TimeSplitters 2. The only games I really use the adapter for are TimeSplitters 2 and Metal Arms.

I seriously need to get a keyboard for the PS2. It's too painful having to use the on-screen keyboard for Auto Modelista. Confused

I'll look into the Logitech keyboard when I have some more money.

Yea it's slightly smaller than the dreamcast mini keyboard(hello kitty/white crystal clear ones). It's very small. Yet all the actual alphabetical keys are full size and all the others have been contrained. It's the ULTIMATE ps2 keyboard.

I picked up a microsoft office keyboard for my ps2 and it works flawlessly. How much are the Sharkboards worth?
