Well its been awhile since I've last played online with my PS2 (about 3 months) and then I just recently decided that I felt like playing a game of SOCOM when I realized my PS2 couldnt connect to the server or whatever. Then tried TMB:O didnt work either, I couldnt even with my start-up disc. I tried removing the network adapter but nothing seemed wrong with it. Well anyway can anyone help me and tell me what might be wrong with it?
Thanks in advance!!

Have you tried creating a new configuration? Try setting everything up again.

Does the network adaptor get recognized by the Start-Up Disc?

Are you using a router or behind a firewall?

Try unplugging the modem, wait a few minutes, then power it up again.

Yep, looks like you gotta buy a new one. Sorry

You could always sell your old one to some n00b Mr. Green

Maybe you could request a method of repairing your adapter from Sony instead of shelling out $40?

Wait Wait. Don't buy a new one get OmegaChrono. First take it to a friends house and then test it. Also it might be a conflict with your ISP, especially if your going directly into the modem. Do you own a router?

Routers will be helpful and conveinent as a whole, so long as you don't end up with too many router-related problems when setting up your PS2 online with it (i.e. a certain game might not work with your router, depending on the ports). You may have to adjust somewhat. Then again, I don't have a router, so what do I know. Smile
