Im am goin to download this soon so me and a friend can play timesplitters 2 online. I was wondering if anyone has did this for timesplitters or any other game and how well does it work?

I would also like to know how smooth does the Gamer's Internet Tunnel software run?

varies on your connection with the transfer of the packets needed. It runs pretty smooth, i used to use it , but dont know if they have a new version which might be different.. And yea i have ts2 just tell me when your gonna try it and i'll go on.

Well the software supposedly should run fine. The main key is getting both you and your friends LAN ip's to be on the same number. Like me and masterchief tried this once already. We got it hooked up. However I had my LAN setup wrong.

I had 192.168.0.x

and

he had 192.168.1.x

You have to set it so your first 3 digits are the same. If your both ICSing via windows XP then you should be all good, since it uses 192.168.0.x by defualt. If you have a router your going to have to change it.

I just recently figured out how to change it. So I should be able to test GIT with anyone that wants to test it now. With TS2, or any LAN based game. Would be fun to get Twisted Metal Black online working in a non-official way Smile

Gforce, you need to disable the DCHP on your router for your PS2. Xlink has DCHP built in and can't deal with not using it.

Me and Apple tried GIT with Splinter Cell 2. We got as far as the master list screen but couldn't join the game. packets wern't matching up so something was wrong or not set right. However we are confident that it would work perfectly if we were doing it with TimeSplitters 2 hehe.
