Well i got this game and started playing around 11 am today... After warming up with some of the campain i tried some online play and then i friend and i beat the single player campain... Its nice that you can play a campain with two players...Its like taking star wars, socom, and battlefield 1942 and mixing them together. Heres my thoughts.
GAMEPLAY- very fun... framrate is smooth BOTS AI- most of the time they are smart they will help you defend a spawn point and work together only sometimes do they just sit ther. MAPS-the maps are amazing. They are very well done. ENDOR, HOTH, CLOUD CITY AND MORE. with even some episode 3 maps.... i have not found a map i didnt like yet GRAPHICS- very good MODES OF PLAY- About three different modes of single player there is 2 different conquest for each...There are movies of the films between each of them to lead you in to the play.. ONLINE-this game has LAN and internet play.. there were lots of ppl online and it was very fun. although there is only one mode of online play which is the controlling the map points. THE BAD- the only thing i didnt like aboout this game was no clan or friends list online.. Also some of the rooms were a little laggy but were ok for ost of the time... I will give this a 9.9 out of 10 just because of the o friends list online.... Ive been playing for a while now and im taking a break... I think im goin to watch my star wars dvds i got today also  . I dunno if you need to be a star wars fan or ot to like this game.. i think any one would like it,,,,
i think everyone should give this a try.. this is my new favorite ps2 online game.... |

yea i've been playing for aboout 3 hours straight now and i have placed this at the top of the online games list for ps2. Nothing comes close to it on ps2 and the new patch we got today started smoothing the little bugs here and there. Excellent game and the only thing i can say bad about it, for just a little while, were that i had a recurring error which said i couldnt join any games, buts its now been worked out by gamespy. You dont need to care about starwars to play and there is already over 200 peeps online. Sure to become a classic, and another cool feature is dedicated server support. Lucasarts gives you the software itself for you to host games from your pc for ps2 players making the online experience even smoother, and lately those are the games that are coming up and not the non-dedicated. Great game. I would say more but the quick-loading round just started again.  |

You're running T:AA and Q3DC servers too, aren't you? I might look into this dedicated server biz tomorrow. Running a server, however, will largely be based on whether I get the game or not. No point in running a server for a game you don't have, right? And with the soon-to-be released DS on the horizon, I'm trying to save my money (I'm buying two of them, one for me and one for my ten, will be eleven when it comes out, year old brother), so I might not get this game... |

well, my friend said that he couldnt get into any servers and there needs to be a patch soon.
... the released it too soon. all the bugs and stuff. ill rent it first soon. |

| Tell me about it for some reason my mic dosnt work in this game so far it works fine on all my other online games y dosnt it work? Is there sum kind of mute or somthing it didnt work on my cuzins mic either and iv tried it at both of our houses with our different internet connections and still nothing. I cant hear or talk to any1 i dont know whats wrong with it do any of you guys have any thoughts on this. | ||||

Wow if dedicated server software gets released I will definatly work to get up a OC Battlefront server. If I ever get Battlefront it wouldn't be until next spring. I spent practically 175.00 this past week and a half. And I will be spending another 49.99 when AC:Nexus comes out and I need money for Metal Slug Advance and Metroid Prime 2 Echoes as well.
I am also hearing rumours that this game might be cross system compatible? Meaning it would allow you to run a dedicated server, and let PC, PS2, and Xbox users all play against each other. Which would be insane. We'll have to wait and see. This Dedicated server business is very exciting news indeed. I'm glad a lot of people are enjoying the game. And if the server software does get released I will put up a server for it most definatly |

solid snake i did go to one room where my mic didnt work either ....but after that game was over the mics started to work again.. i dont know why yours doesnt work all the tim.. Which version do you have xbox or ps2. | |||

Wow, I totally forgot about renting this game  That's what I gotta do, rent this and try it out. I'm sure it'll be awesome, but I should get in the habit of trying before buying. Hopefully I'll see you guys on the game soon... |
