Also, just below the surface this game has what seems to be horrible programming and 'net code. This is why a lot of weapons "don't do any damage". It's because the weapons the player fires aren't hitting the target on the target's tv screen. Usually you can just fire ahead of what you see on your own screen and do the trick.. but because of the game's programming it takes a lot more finesse to land weapons on someone who is sliding or turning.

It can be so messed as to have 2 people be hit by the same power missile. It's happened and we engineered it to happen on purpose, once. heh But there's like a 1 in a million chance of that happening in an actual game.

I have never considered Twisted Metal's network programming horrible. For starters, EVERY online game has latency and different ways to deal with this issue. In most online games you have to lead your target. The things you are describing are in every online game ever made.
