The game works well but there some minor nuances. The packets recieved make things a little "jumpy". For instance when in a mission with someone they will move a ways, pause, and move again. It is like that no matter how many people are in your team. For me though, the game is still playable. In the universes you only get the chat bubbles of people you are near, and that was one of my biggest fears with it. Does anyone know exactly how many people each universe will hold? It's got to be a SHITLOAD.

I've heard estimates if 10,000 people per universe.

It's probably similar to the ships in PSO.

Ships held 10,000, blocks held 1000, lobbies held 100. There were so many blocks per ship and so many lobbies per block. But now the they've done away with the block/lobby system, basically, we just see everyone.

You won't see all of them at once. Each of the planets function as lobbies.

I highly doubt it. I'm sure each planet hold quite a bit.

And I'd get you a screenshot, except, there's no way that I know of to display how many users are on each server (I believe it was just pressing X on the Server/Block in PSO on the 'cube).

Mostly it's just a guess based on how PSO worked. Confused

I don't think there is a set limit on how many people can be on a particular planet. It's just whoever is at that particular location. Also it is a little bit difficult to get used to how the online works (and the game as a whole) if you have spent a lot of time playing PSO.

Well PSU gets pretty laggy in the first place. I've heard broadband users complain about the lag on the PSU servers.
