Now, I've heard a bunch of things about this game, so last night (early this morning) I decided to look up some videos for it. After watching a few, I decided to keep an eye on it for any news avalible. Which brings me to the next day (today). I was going to AWA with some friends of mine, mostly because it was to be my first convention. Now, the whole thing was cool and all, but I saw somthing there that I wasn't expecting in the least. A demo version of Guitar Hero for the public to enjoy. I thought "Oh, I wanted to see some more about this game". And I did.

First thing I want to say is, that this was the most fun I had playing a video game this whole year. It was so good that I just had to come back six difrent times in a three hour period. Now, for those that don't know much about the game, it's easly brooken down into this. For your controller, you have a mini-guitar that has five difrent colored buttons were the threts should be. And and the bottom of the guitar it has a little "switch" thing that you would strum to play the notes. Now, you would watch the notes come up on the screen much like arrows in DDR. And trust me, sometimes it's easy, some times it's hard, and sometimes you make yourself look like a damn fool trying to franticly get to the right fret.

As the the actual guitar, I'm more than certain it was third party of some sort, and it was really damd responsive. I really can't think of anything bad to say about it. Or this game for that matter. Unless you don't like rock and roll.

I'm broke as-is right now, after buying Monster Hunter and throwing down my cash for Socom 3.

I'll have to get it sometime around Christmas or something.

Try $80.

I'll probably end up buying it though. Can't wait to see Harmonix's take on the peripheral music game.

Yeah, Harmonix has been doing something right with their music games - Gutiar Hero looks to be just as great.
